darkoshiI finally switched my shortcuts over from the 3.6 version of Firefox to the 8.0 version. I wish they had kept the status bar. I much prefer the URLs to display unobtrusively on the status bar where I can look at them if I want to, rather than being distracted by a window which pops up and disappears. ... oh yay, this add-on prevents the popups and instead mimics the old functionality by displaying the URLs in the add-on bar.
I also wonder what happened to the little lock icon that you used to get, when you were on a secure/encrypted site... ah, this page explains it.
