Also, don't hold fingernails in front of fan to dry them faster. Apparently, doing either of those things may contribute to getting bubbles on the nails as the polish dries.<br /><br />..<br /><br />I feel an odd disconnectedness to my hands, after putting on nail polish. They seem foreign, unfamiliar. They don't look like my hands.<br /><br />Maybe it's the color. Shiny blue and purple are pretty colors, but I think I prefer black. Maybe once some of the polish chips off, so that I can see the whites of my nails, they won't seem so foreign.<br /><br />My nails feel smothered. Coated in plastic. Oozing a chemical smell - even though the polish does not contain formaldehyde or toluene, and even after having a night to off-gas... but only the purple still smells, not the blue.
