The instructions that come with household hardware and such, tend to suck. I'm putting together the parts for a manual push-mower. If I hadn't been going by the instructions, I would have noticed that the 3 screws are not all the same length (even though the instructions indicate that they are), and I wouldn't have had to take 2 screws back out in order to put the shorter one in the correct place. If I hadn't been going by the instructions, I would have noticed that I needed to put the lower bars onto the mowing assembly before screwing the bars together, since the bars don't fit onto the mowing assembly otherwise. But no, the instructions make no mention of that little detail, and they say to screw the bars together before attaching them to the assembly.

I'm beginning to think that Q isn't so wrong after all, for not bothering to read the instructions that come with these kind of things.
