Should we wait four days until all the Florida votes are counted, and all the last minute absentee votes from other states are accounted for before all the states vote counts are released to the public? How about waiting to release vote counts in eastern time zone states until poll places in Hawaii are closed because this may influence the outcome of the election there? I suggest that we vote over a weekend or 2-3 day period and no vote count are released until all votes can be released at the same time. Or, people on the west coast vote the day before people in the east. There is both good and bad to mention about gerrymandering. It protects etablished white politicians, but without gerrymandered districts in places like SC very few minority elected officials would stand a chance of holding office in a state where they numbered less than the majority.
