I'm not sure mine could recover from a lawnmower. The ones by the side of the house grow tall (one right now is 4 foot high) and tend to get knocked over by the wind. But when I lift them back up and support them with a stake, they do quite well. And like most of the other flowers in the yard, they do grow back every year. It's always nice to see them springing up and blooming.
