From the bits and bobs I heard on the radio, the breaking event could have been of a higher caliber if they'd been better at soliciting participation from the 'breaking community'. Something about expenses keeping people out and a lack of consultation of people who know who's what where? Breaking is cool but as a sport, I lump it in with synchronized swimming, gymnastic dancing and competitive painting. Not exactly Higher, Faster, Stronger material.
