nyckelharpa and sarangi instruments

Nyckelharpa - a Swedish stringed instrument with resonant and drone strings and keys like a hurdy gurdy.

Sarangi - Wikipedia
Sarangi - Brittanica
Has 3 melody strings and up to 37 resonant strings. I did not find a detailed diagram of how all the resonant strings are placed, but this photo shows most of them. The below video also has close-ups of them and shows how the instrument is played.

I like this description from the current Wikipedia entry: A properly tuned sarangi will hum and cry and will sound like melodious meowing.

As a fan both of unconventional instruments and the hurdy-gurdy in particular, thank you for this post!
