add-on updated again

I made another update to my ToggleDocumentColors add-on today (version 1.4.20120122), for a bug related to the one I worked on yesterday.

According to the add-on's Statistics Dashboard, it currently has over 200 daily users.

..

If you are a user of the add-on, and want to report any bugs, feel free to reply to this post.

love your add on, looking forward to next update

Hi, Just wanted to tell you that I absolutely love your add-on. I have poor vision and toggledocumentcolors allows me to use high contrast color schemes on most web pages.

I will delay updating to the new version of firefox until your add-on is compatible. Please keep up the great work and thank you very very much for putting your time into developing this tool.

Hi! Your addon is extremely useful, I've been using it for years. Unfortunately it now stopped working with my last update browser, Palemoon 25.0.1. The button disappeared from the toolbar and it doesn't appear among available tools in the "Customize..." window. The keyboard shortcut doesn't work either (I tried to change the keys but no luck). Any hope that it will be updated?

Thank you,
A.S.

Doesn't seem to be working for Firefox 37.0

I just updated to Firefox 37.0, and ToggleDocumentColors seems to no longer be working. I see from commentary that the 37.0 update also broke the Color toggle add-on as well, so something must have changed about color selections. I've been using your add-on for years, and I hope you can update it to fix this.

toggle shortcut

Hi, thanks a lot for the addon, I have cataracts and can't cope with bright colours. I want to assign a keyboard shortcut but I've never beeb able to in Firefox. The about:config entry says "enter string" when I was expecting to just hit the keys I want. Could you explain how it should be done? Thanks a lot,
Mark

Add menu item

Thanks for this essential add on it allows me to use a default colour scheme for viewing the web without fuss! I think it would be handy to have a menu item available for access from the context menu etc.

Toggle colors for a single page?

(Anonymous) 2015-07-25 04:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Hi darkoshi - thanks for the addon!
I've been using it for a long time.
One issue I have: it seems to be a global toggle (for all tabs in all windows).
Instead I think it should work only for the page it was invoked on.
The way it is, I come across one page with red text on black background, kill that craziness with your addon, but then all normal pages are screwed up until I toggle back. Or am I missing a config parameter?
I'd rather not go into the code and hack it myself ... :)
Could you please add this functionality - or explain what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks a lot!
Dmitri
