add-on updated again

I made another update to my ToggleDocumentColors add-on today (version 1.4.20120122), for a bug related to the one I worked on yesterday.

According to the add-on's Statistics Dashboard, it currently has over 200 daily users.

toggle shortcut

Hi, thanks a lot for the addon, I have cataracts and can't cope with bright colours. I want to assign a keyboard shortcut but I've never beeb able to in Firefox. The about:config entry says "enter string" when I was expecting to just hit the keys I want. Could you explain how it should be done? Thanks a lot,

The toggledocumentcolors.shortcutKey entry should be set to the alphabetical/numeric character that you want to use. The toggledocumentcolors.shortcutModifiers entry should indicate which other keys to include (accel, shift, alt, etc.)

For example, the default Toggle shortcut key is set to Control+Shift+C:
toggledocumentcolors.shortcutKey: C
toggledocumentcolors.shortcutModifiers: accel,shift

If you let me know what shortcut key you want to assign and what kind of system you are on, I may be able to provide more specific help. Just make sure that Firefox and your other add-ons aren't using that same key combination for anything else already. I think there is a way to list all the existing shortcuts in use, but I don't remember right now how it is done.

Thanks a million darkoshi...I already have a million cross-platform shortcuts from Intelliwebsearch (check it out if you don't know it) so I eventually assigned to pageup+P with some syntax help from your link, works fine. Keep up the good work.
