I was thinking about getting one of these Matchsticks, when they become available (August?).

But now Google and Intel have whole computers in similar sized gadgets, which plug into HDMI ports... I wonder if these play video too.

Okay that edge-of-a-penny computer is amazing. It's hard to even get sufficient transistors into a piece of silicon that size, much less bond it out to real-world interfaces.

The beaglebone black has been doing relatively well for me lately, and it's pretty small.

I ordered a Matchstick on the Kickstarter.

And then they pushed back the delivery date from April to August. Really annoying a lot of their supporters.

Yeah, I read about some of that. From my point of view, I'd rather wait a little longer to get a better product. But if I had taken part in the Kickstarter, I'd be more bothered by the change in dates.
