I was able to fix my watch! Yay!

The main push-button was stuck in the in position and was no longer working. It turns out that I must have banged my watch somewhen recently, as the button hole in the casing was slightly dented. That was causing the button to stick on that side and not pop back out like normal.

Procedure:

I took the back of the watch off by removing the 4 small screws in the corners.
I removed the thin rubber ring.
Then I pried the inner watch part out of the case.

The buttons are made of several pieces.
They are (in order, from outside to innermost):
- the actual button, with the button head and thin rod
- a spring that fits over the rod
- a tiny metal washer that fits over the rod at the end of the spring (the end pointing into the watch, not the button-head end)
- 2 tiny rubber washers that go on the rod after the metal washer
- (the hole in the watch case through which the button rod goes)
- a circlip (like a washer but open on one side so that it can be pushed on) that fits into a groove on the end of the rod, to keep the rod from popping all the way out of the hole.
The circlip is very hard to see because it is so small (about 1.5 mm wide and very thin)

To remove the bad button, I had to pry its circlip off with a small screwdriver.
The circlip bent a bit when doing that, so when putting it back on I had to first flatten it again, and also compress it to a smaller diameter again.

After figuring the problem out, I forced the uneven edge of the hole back into a more round shape, by pressing from the inside outwards with a needle-nosed plier, and by using small metal files to smooth the edges. Then I replaced the buttons and put the circlips back on.
