Darkoshiness
Sunday, January 14th, 2007 11:03 pmWow. Used to be when I googled on "Darkoshi", I'd only find references to things I'd posted myself, or to this other prolific gamer dude who also happens to live here in SC and uses the same nick.
But now, I also find a page in Spanish from someone in Santiago, Chile, a page in French, and a page in a language that looks like Italian, but which otherwise appears very Japanese.
Oh. And perhaps there are actually 2 different gamer dudes. One of their profiles says East London.
Hmm. That would make 6 Darkoshis! The tribe of Darkoshi is expanding around the world! Hmm, but there are no hits at all yet on my alternate spelling of my name, heh.
I was a bit dismayed the first time I found out someone else was using my name. But now, it seems rather cool that there might be 6 of us. Or even more, who knows? :)
Hmm. In Japanese, -shi is a formal suffix for a name of a person one hasn't met. So maybe the Japanese page is actually referring to a person named Darko.
Still, that would leave 5 Darkoshis!
