(no subject)

Oh, good Lord. The people who've moved into the house across the street from my new house appear to have a rooster! It's a cute sound, but not something I want waking me up an hour before my alarm clock is set to go off. Maybe I'm going to have to move my mattress back into the other bedroom after all. Although the neighbor on that side leaves early to go to work, and I was awakened in that room the other day when they started their car.

Technically, this area is not considered inside city limits, even though it is inside the city. So roosters are probably allowed here, along with multiple dogs. I have a slight desire to strangle that rooster at the moment, though. If it were a dog, I'd be thinking, "Can't those people make their dog shut up?," but with a rooster....???
