Kroger left an automated message on my phone answering machine about a Clif Bar recall. That's the first time Kroger has ever called me. Since I use my shopper's card when buying from them, they can keep track of what I buy, and therefore they were able to determine that I was one of the people who bought those items. And so they were able to contact me about it. That is a pretty neat.

Those were 2 of my favorite flavors of Clif Bars, though. I had 10 bars affected by the recall, leaving me with just one bar of another variety.
