You normally get what you pay for or don't pay when purchasing a vacuum. Light, maneuverable, and bag-less are models to stay away from. My recommendation, get a top of the line, sturdy, self propelled, upright, bag model (Wind Tunnel)from Hoover; you will pay more, but it will last years longer and out perform the fancy ones you see advertised on TV. For a hundred bucks more, it may be the last one you ever need. Forget about Dyson and Oreck, they are junk.
