Yeah. I mean, I'm not against for-profit collections, as long as the boxes are clearly labelled as such. It's better than items getting thrown in the trash. And if they are really collecting clothing to use for scrap material in a recycling sense, that might provide a good way of disposing of clothing which is too worn out (full of holes, etc) to give to charity.
