Part of the reason I've stayed with some of these shows so long is that they've become 'together-time' for me and Qiao, while we eat dinner. If it were only me, I'd likely keep the TV turned off and eat dinner in front of my computer. He's like me - he'd tend to do the same, although he's also been watching a lot of streaming stuff on his computer this last year.
We now have the unlimited Netflix streaming plan, so maybe we'll find some online shows that we both enjoy watching during those hours.
