I still have a bunch of old cassettes that I had taped music to from the radio, but not any new/empty ones. (Unless we have a stash somewhere that I've forgotten about.) One of the cassettes, the last one I taped stuff to, may still be half empty.
I started on a project to convert my cassettes to MP3s a few years ago. Got a good amount done, but there's still a lot left. I haven't had time to continue.
I've had miserable luck with boombox cd-players too. That's always the first thing to break.
