Due to a different problem, I completely reinstalled Firefox 57 yesterday and started with a new profile. I noticed that with Firefox's "Tracking Protection" turned on (without uMatrix installed), that video doesn't display either. So there must be something odd about how it is embedded in the page. It may a bug in uMatrix, that it doesn't display even with all filtering turned off. I may ask about it in their forum.
