Thank you. They're not even "fully ripe" as I think of it. The flowers tend to start out all light green when they start forming, and then turn bluer as they mature. The ones in the photo were half-way.
I was thinking those were the ones in my yard, but just realized they're the ones in Q's yard. Mine turn white rather than blue... I had thought the color was due to soil conditions, but it seems that is not the case for the white ones: https://plantaddicts.com/changing-the-color-of-hydrangeas/
