With incandescent light strands, one bad (or loose) bulb would make either the whole strand go out, or a long section of it (depending on how long the strand is and how many separately wired sections it has). That happened plenty often to me too, but made sense as the bad bulb broke the connection for that whole section of the strand.

But now with this LED strand, having a bad bulb affecting a few but *only a few* other bulbs, that I do not understand.
