We seem to have a lot of not-so-good drivers around here. Lots of people driving faster than they should on that road.
In the summer when I was reviewing the video of the car hitting my side gate, I was amazed. The car hit it (the impact bent both of the gate's support posts), backed up, and drove away all within 10 seconds, like it hardly fazed the driver at all. The car yesterday only paused a few seconds too. It must have damaged their tail light too as I found broken red plastic on the ground.
