Luckily I am not allergic to ragweed, but that thought did occur to me - that bringing dandelions inside and blowing them around might be bad for anyone else who comes inside who might be allergic. I meant to run the vacuum cleaner right afterwards but forgot.
I would guess though that by the time the flower turns to seedpods, the pollen would be gone anyway.

I've tried eating dandelion leaves and flowers from my yard before and didn't like them enough to want to do it again.
Actually, what I call dandelions are usually "cat's ear" rather than true dandelions:
