I wouldn't use a washcloth on the delicate skin of my privates, no more than I'd use it on the delicate skin of my mouth or my inner eyelids. That seems like a recipe for illness - especially if it has soap on it. The mucous membranes should not have soap applied to them, as I was explicitly taught in health class in middle school and again in high school.

I use my hands and water.
