This show on ETV, African American Lives, is very interesting.
I didn't know that Native American nations in the South owned slaves. And they refused to free their slaves after the civil war.
Tina Turner worked in the cotton fields.
It's neat how there are all these old records still available showing people's history... I wonder what the stories of my own ancestors are.
