burrito recipe
Monday, April 6th, 2009 07:45 amGenerally when I make burritos, I use refried beans and cheese as the filling. But the refried beans tend to overwhelm the flavor and texture of the cheese, and take too frustratingly long to cool off.
Burrito:
1 flour tortilla
1/2 sliced vegan sausage (Tofutti brand Kielbasa)
1 1/2 slices american-style cheese (Tofutti brand)
a few canned pinto beans
Arrange filling on tortilla, roll it up, and tuck in the ends if possible, to keep the melted cheese from leaking out. Bake at 350* for about 15 minutes, till tortilla is crisp on the ends.
