note to self - sheets

Do not buy "microloft" sheets again. They are as warm and soft as the microfleece sheets, but they shed bunches of bits of fuzz (even after multiple washings) which end up sticking to clothing. I haven't had that problem with the microfleece sheets, in spite of them both having been labelled as pill-resistant/ anti-pill.

headphones boom boom!

Ah, I've just discovered the joys of wearing noise-canceling headphones to listen to music and videos on my computer while Q is watching TV nearby. The bass sounds better thru the headphones than thru the speakers. Too bad I have to be tethered by the cord, or I could exercise to it. Although I think I do have extension cords... hah! Yes I do!

Hmmm. I take it back; my speakers are nicely bass thumpy too. The headphones provide a novel insular experience though.
