ecchymosis - the secretion of blood from a blood vessel into the surrounding tissue as a result of a bruise; or the bruise itself.

atelectasis - the collapse or closure of alveoli resulting in reduced or absent gas exchange.

comminute - to reduce to minute particles; pulverize

insufflate - to blow or breathe (something) in.

reduction (orthopedic surgery) - a medical procedure to restore a fracture or dislocation to the correct alignment.

fluoroscopy - a type of medical imaging that shows a continuous x-ray image on a monitor, much like an x-ray movie.

olecranon; coronoid process - parts of the end of the ulna, near the elbow.

cuneiform (anatomy) - 3 bones in the foot

periosteum - The dense fibrous membrane covering the surface of bones except at the joints and serving as an attachment for muscles and tendons.

malleolus - Either of the two rounded protuberances on each side of the ankle, the inner formed by a projection of the tibia and the outer by a projection of the fibula.
