Note to self: At the Kroger self check-out, I need to remember to select the option on the screen to not print a receipt, EVERY time I check out. Regardless of scanning my Kroger card, it won't remember my selection from the previous time.

Yesterday, driving from Qiao's house, I saw a fox with a big bushy tail. It ran along the side of the street in front of my car for quite a while, while I drove slowly behind it, before it finally crossed the road and ran off into the night.

Today I noticed something odd on one of the picnic tables by the pond. The one I was sitting at, actually. Taking a closer look, it seemed to be part of a bird's head; bluish black feathers and a beak in two parts. Part of the skull visible.

The cricket sound and the cool gentle breeze coming through the window are pleasant. Slightly hypnotizing. Don't want to get up.
