Before I started having trouble with my right thigh, I never realized how difficult it is for people who aren't flexible like me, to cut their toenails. Normally, I grab my foot and twist my leg, bringing up my foot towards my head where I can see it good and close. Then I clip the nails like that. Now it hurts when I try to do that, and the only other way of clipping the nails seems to be looking down on the foot from above... the foot seems so very far away like that... it's hard to clip the nails like that, and it's difficult for me to scrape the underside of the nails clean when I'm coming at them from above instead of from below. It's all the wrong way around.
I wonder how most other people cut their toenails.
