Okay, so a post with a single short sentence cross-posts to LJ ok, whether it includes a link or not. But a post with more text like this one is failing.

I keep getting this error:
Failed to crosspost entry to Darkoshi@LiveJournal: Failed to connect to http://www.livejournal.com/interface/xmlrpc.

LJ is under DDOS a lot of the time at the moment, due to the upcoming Russian elections.

I remember seeing a message about that a few days ago.
But when I checked these pages, none of them mentioned it, so I didn't know if it was still happening:

Is there some other page that I should check for information like this?

Also, I don't understand why some posts (like your Interesting Links entries, or simple short "test" entries) seem to cross-post ok, whereas the entries I really want to cross-post fail repeatedly. If LJ had disabled crossposting, then nothing should be getting through. Also, posting directly from LJ seems to be working fine.

Although the timestamp on the links posts say 11am they've actually taken a lot longer for me to post each time, with multiple attempts to do so.
