Voted. Got there about 5 minutes til 7am, and then had to stand in line for 2 and a quarter hours. At least most of that time was inside the building, not out in the cold. One of the poll officials said that usually they have 9 (or maybe it was 6?) voting machines, but this time they were only given 4.

There is absolutely no reason anyone should need to wait in line to vote. In my town, population 32,000, there is only one polling place where everyone votes. In the past 22 years that I have lived here I have voted in every election and never waited in a line. The process never takes more than a few minutes.
