subs and comments

I'm not sure what to make of this account: noamziko. They subscribed to me in March 2014, and at the time I thought was a spam account and ignored it. The posts are all in Hebrew.

At first I thought the account had only 3 posts total, but now I see that it has 34 visible posts going back to May 2013, even though it only shows 3 posts per page. When I translate the posts, they sound real, and not like spam.

But the account has only 3 subscriptions, no subscribers, and no comments that I can see. Why would someone from Israel who writes in Hebrew and has never commented on my journal, have subscribed to me?

What would any of you make of it?

In other news, I used the Import Journal function to import my LJ comments to my DW entries. It appears to have worked fine. Now I will use LJArchive again, to save a copy of my journal including both the DW and LJ comments.

I've had a couple accounts add me, vaguely like that, but both seemed to be trying to sell things, and gave up fairly quickly.

Usually I can tell what is spam or advertising right away. But this one is a real mystery to me. The posts have a few links, but they don't look suspicious.

There are a few YouTube embeds, but of various things, so it doesn't seem a trick to increase video views.

The posts, when translated, seem perfectly innocent and like a real person's posts. The posts are in Hebrew, and the links are mostly to Israeli sites, so that matches up.

I did a google search on a few phrases in the posts, and they don't show up anywhere else, so they don't seem to be copy&pasted.

If I were paranoid, I might think that some of the linked-to pages might be a ploy by the Israeli government to install malware on unsuspecting visitors. I haven't actually clicked the links.

The part that seems strangest is that they only have 3 subscriptions, including me. That doesn't appear to have changed since they first subscribed to me more than a year ago, even though there have been new posts since then.

There's some email going around, that's made of processed pork, gelatin, and salt.
Don't click on it. It's spam.
