Due to mostly shopping at health/natural/organic food stores, I don't go in regular grocery stores very often anymore. So when I do, I'm sometimes surprised.
They don't have frozen bagels anymore... No more frozen Lender's bagels. Who'd ever have thought it? And the non-frozen ones all have ingredients like L-Cysteine, Potassium Sorbate, etc. in them. Hmmm.
The Corn Puffs formulation has been changed again, removing the artificial preservatives they had previously added (something I had ranted about in a previous LJ entry). But I'll hold off on celebrating until after I taste them and find out if they're as good as they used to be.
And the most weird annoying thing, especially for a vegan like me.... if you walk near the dairy section, you hear moo-ing cow sounds... they have a little audio speaker there issuing forth this NOISE! And in the egg section, there are clucking chicken noises. Ergh! Why don't they play the sounds of a slaughter-house in the meat section while they're at it, EH???

Or the sound of people grunting and punching dough in the bakery section? Or the sound of sweatshops in the cheap-clothes section?
