"Sanskrit mantra arranged in contemporary flavor with a fusion of Indian Classical and Rock" is what it says. I'd say more like metal than rock.

I think that's the Kecak / monkey chant in there, but maybe I'm mixing that up with another song... one which Sheila Chandra has sung too.
Parts of it also give me the vibe of: The Contours - Do You Love Me.
The song is on Youtube too, but the YT version sounds much more mediocre to me. It must be a lower quality sample of the song. Right? Or does it sound the same to you, if you happen to listen to both?
