Hum. I've just removed 2 people from my friends list who had removed me from theirs a while back, and who never seem to post anymore (or not openly, anyway).
But there's also a couple of people still on my list, who haven't updated in ages, and who may not even use LJ anymore, but who never removed me from their friends-list. Because of that, it feels wrong for me to remove them from mine, as if it would be somehow shunning them, when that isn't what I'd want to do. If they were still updating, I'd still be interested in reading their journals, and ok with them reading mine. But I'm uncomfortable with having my friends-only posts open to other people who never post anything themselves.
So.... hear ye, hear ye. If you've been removed from my friends-list, it's just because of the above reason, not because I wouldn't still consider you friends-worthy. Over and out.
