(no subject)

I did not have my birth-date entered on my LJ Profile.
A week or so ago, I started seeing some posts on my friends-list replaced by links like these:

( You are about to view content that may not be appropriate for minors. )

( You are about to view content that may only be appropriate for adults. )

When clicking the first style of link, I would get a page saying this:

The content that you are about to view could contain adult concepts which may not be suitable for minors. To continue, you must confirm that you are at least 14 years of age. Edit your profile to register your age.

When clicking the 2nd style of link, I would get a page saying this:

Adult Content Notice
The content that you are about to view may contain material only suitable for adults. To continue, you must confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. Edit your profile to register your age.

Both pages had a button you could click to confirm your age, without updating your profile.

But now I have updated my profile, so I no longer see the above while logged in.

I have not been able to figure out what basis is used to determine which posts are filtered as above, and which not. Some harmless posts are filtered, but not all of a person's posts are.

I wonder if any of my posts will get filtered like that, or if any already have been without me realizing it.
