The members of Congress are getting quite a workout tonight, standing up to clap at words the President is speaking, and then sitting down again. And then standing up again. And sitting down again. Up and down. Up and down. Up and down.

non-discrimination notices

The equal employment opportunity notice that my work sent out this year (they email it to all employees about once a year) includes gender identity in the list of things that the company claims it will not discriminate based on. This is a good thing. It was about 4 years ago that sexual orientation was added to the list.
