I've finished rewatching Episode II, Attack of the Clones.

At around 1 hr 8 min into the movie, the DVD and BluRay disc audios got out of sync by 3 to 8 seconds and remained that way till the end of the movie. Not sure why - maybe one or the other had something cut or added. Playing both at the same time, I was able to sync the audio pretty closely but not exactly, so there was a slight echoing. But it was hardly noticeable.

A few impressions from the movie.

Amidala/Padme had a different outfit and hairstyle in nearly every new scene. Even when it didn't make sense. Traveling discreetly as a refugee to Naboo, why did she wear a fancy outfit with headgear? On Tatooine after leaving their ship with no visible luggage, where did she get the new outfits from?

Padme falling in love with Anakin didn't seem believable. He seems pretty creepy throughout the movie, which makes sense considering that he will end up becoming Darth Vader. Padme seemed to find him creepy too in the beginning (telling him not to look at her that way as "it makes me uncomfortable"). But then a few scenes later she loves him? When he tells her that he killed the whole tribe of Tusken Raiders, "even the women and children", it seems to make her more sympathetic to him rather than less.

I must have missed the explanation for why the Tusken Raiders abducted Shmi, and what they were doing with her.

I wish the scene with Padme and Anakin trying to escape the factory with huge machines and molten metal had been omitted. It seems totally pointless to me.

I wish the execution scene in the arena with the 3 vicious animals had been omitted. Again, it seems pointless to me. Though the tiger-like one going after Padme seemed curiously familiar. There must be toys of it. Or maybe a similar monster in another movie.

During a few points in the fighting, both Obi-wan and Yoda had angry looks on their faces. I thought Jedi were supposed to stay calm and not become angry. Does this have something to do with the decline of the Jedi?

Dooku's lightsaber had a crooked/curved handle. Why is he called "Count"? The other Jedi don't have titles... wouldn't you give up any inherited title when becoming a Jedi? Why would Yoda still call him "Count"?

In Padme's silver ship, she pressed the same button to bring up the communication channel to Coruscant, and for bringing up a map of the Geonosian system. Maybe the ship is telepathic.

Padme's white outfit.. the 90 degree decorative seam seems designed to partially obscure her nipples, but not completely.
