Winter seems to be over

The next 9 days are forecast to be in the 70s and 80s here. The last few days have been, as well.





Don't ask me what kind of plant these buds these are from... I vaguely recall having taken a photo of the plant at another time of the year, but it would take some searching to find it.

I am extremely envious. It's 10F here right now. That's an amazing looking flower/bud!

I came across the other photos I had taken, of the flowers last year. They had pinkish blossoms with long stamens. They must be deciduous azaleas, unlike most of the other evergreen azalea bushes in the yard.
