How do u visualize the calendar year in your head? As a timeline? A circle? A round strip (like a band) that comes back around?

I never really thought about it before, but "round strip (like a band) that comes back around" is pretty accurate for me. It's like a circular band hovering horizontally in front of me. December/January are at the far side of the band/circle and the summer months are at the near side of the band/circle closest to me. I'm not sure where I got that visualization from. Spring is always on the right side and fall is always on the left. Towards the winter, my position switches from outside the circle to inside it with the summer months behind me or not even being thought about.

Individual months can be like a calendar page hovering by the band in the appropriate position, or a section of the band. I don't usually pinpoint individual days on the band.

When I think of multiple years, they are a timeline, left to right.
Weekdays are also left to right like a timeline, or sometimes like on a calendar page depending on what I'm thinking about.

Interesting question! I've always visualized the year as a vertical strip of months, with the previous year to the left and the next to the right. My image of the days of the week matches yours, though.

A 3x4 grid of 5x7 grids. :P Kinda boring, now that I think about it.
