and it was good.
There was clear sky.
The sun became a crescent.
The sunlight dimmed in a peculiar way.
The air got cooler.

I found a way to take photos of it with my phone.
I watched and waited as the shadow moved.
The sun brightened; the air got warmer again.

Last night, I finished reading the book So You Want to Be a Wizard, in which coincidentally a sun was blackened and restored.

Nice! That's so much more than I got to see in Minneapolis, where we only got 75% eclipse but it was heavily overcast all day.

Hello, this will probably sound strange but I just accidentally stumbled upon a journal entry of yours from 2003 where you talk about being 31, asexual, antisocial and genderqueer and feeling scared about putting yourself out there in the bdsm scene. I'm 19, asexual, autistic and transgender and going through a similar experience at the moment, I have no idea how to interact with people, am homeschooled and am afraid no one would be compatible with me but reading your feelings has given me great comfort. I think you are awesome!!
