I was wondering, does Rowling get royalties from sales of the official Harry Potter movie soundtracks?

While working in the yard, I cut down these branches which were growing in the wrong place but then felt sorry for them, so took them inside and put them in a vase.

The important plumbing work that I've needed done has finally been done!
It included replacing the bathroom faucet; the new one came in this packaging:

But the cardboard turns out to have a face, so how can I just toss it away with the rest of the recyclables?

Edited to add:
And not only a face, but also floppy ears and its arms held out for a hug; that makes it even harder.

I generally think of plastic as being water-proof. But some plastics must let water slowly leach out.

When I used to do cloth painting, I used liquid paints as well as the thicker acrylic paints. The little bottles of paint, each a different color, are 15 to 25 years old by now. The paints in the glass bottles are still fine. The paints in the plastic bottles are all dried out. This was a tendency I noticed even back then when I still painted - the paints in plastic bottles always got thicker over time, and I had to mix in water to get them back to their original consistency. I never had to do that with the paints in glass bottles.

The black acrylic paint would have come in handy for something right now. But I suppose I can use black nail polish instead.

A spring rainstorm with thunder.
Filing off the sharp edges of a broken glass tabletop.

I am watching Chihuly in the Hotshop on TV right now. It shows glassblowing, making glass art. I've seen glassblowing before, but this is amazing! And it has neat background music too.
