GreenShield organic laundry detergent

I have a container of "GreenShield organic laundry detergent". I'm not sure if I got a bad batch or if it's supposed to be this way.... It is very thin; the consistency and color of rice-milk. It doesn't even feel soapy when I rub it between my fingers. It says to use half a cap-full for a load in a regular washer, and a third for an HE washer. But I suspect that even were I to pour half the container into the machine, that it wouldn't cause much suds.

I've used it for several loads now, and I can't say if it works or not. I've seen some stains/spots left on the washed items, but that can happen even with other detergents. I'm going to be buying some other detergent, as this one simply doesn't seem right to me. I'd be curious to hear from anyone else who may have used this product, and if theirs was as thin as mine.

I find this comment questionable; what with people being paid to write product reviews, it is often hard to know whether a review or comment is authentic. I would find this comment less questionable if the commenter had at least responded regarding my question as to the thin/thickness/consistency of the product.

All the other brands of normal and HE/low-sudsing detergents I have used have been much thicker than this one.

I just started using it- bought it yesterday from Lowe's and I too was surprised at the consistency, but to me it's not an issue. I wash all my laundry and cloth diapers with this detergent. Everything seems to come out clean and doesn't have that "feel" I get from other froo-froo detergents. It seems simple enough and natural so I feel good about using it. We have an HE machine so that was something else I was concerned about. Can it be natural AND clean IN an HE machine? It appears to do just that. I hope this is a more trustworthy post. I'm new at this product as well, but I like the results I've had so far. :-)
